स्टॉक मार्केट में पिछले काफी समय से गिरावट देखी जा रही है , भारतीय शेयर बाजार में सेंसेक्स तथा निफ्टी में भी काफी समय से गिरावट का रुख देखा जा रहा है , इसका मुख्य कारण विदेशी संस्थागत निवेशको द्वारा पिछले कुछ महीनों से हजारों करोड़ रुपए की निकासी भारतीय शेयर बाजार से की गई हैै। विदेशी संस्थागत निवेशकों द्वारा भारतीय शेयर बाजार से पैसे निकालने का मुख्य कारण अमेरिका में ब्याज दरों में ऐतिहासिक बढ़ोतरी होना भी बताया जा रहा है । ऐसा कहां जा रहा है की अमेरिका की वर्तमान बैंक की ब्याज दरें 25 वर्षों की सर्वोच्च दर पर है। विदेशी संस्थागत निवेशकों को वर्तमान में अमेरिका में निवेश करना अत्याधिक आकर्षक तथा लाभप्रद दिखाई पढ़ रहा हैै। हर निवेशक वर्तमान समय में जबकि पूरी दुनिया में उथल-पुथल मची हुई है, रिस्क लेने से बचना चाहता है । निवेशक कोई भी जोखिम लेने के मूड में नहीं है। वह अपनी पूंजी की सुरक्षा चाहता है। शेयर मार्केट क्योंकि अत्यंत ही जोखिम भरा होता है, इसलिए निवेशक शेयर मार्केट में निवेश करने की जगह बैंक के फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट, गोल्ड, रियल्टी, कमोडिटी आदि में निवेश करना ज्यादा पसंद कर रहा है। वहीं पर विदेशी संस्थागत निवेशक भी वर्तमान समय में अमेरिका में फिर से अपना निवेश बढ़ा रहे हैं। वह भारतीय बाजारों से अपने निवेश किया हुआ धन वापिस अमेरिका लेकर जा रहे हैं क्योंकि वहां पर उनको अच्छा रिटर्न मिलने की उम्मीद है।
मुद्रास्फीति की दर में बढ़ोतरी होना
दूसरे तरफ विश्व् में अनेक देेशों में मुद्रास्फीति की दर अत्यधिक हो गई है, जिससे लोगो की क्रय शक्ति कम हो गई है। जिसके कारण भी कई देशों की अर्थव्यवस्थाऐं प्रभावित हो गई है। वर्तमान में अमेरिका में भी पिछले कई वर्षों के मुकाबले अत्याधिक मुद्रास्फीति की दर देखी जा रही है, इसका कारण महंगाई का बढ़ना है। वही पूरे यूरोप तथा अन्य एशियाई देश तथा अफ्रीकन देश भी इस वक्त महंगाई की मार झेल रहे हैं। जिसका दुष्प्रभाव शेयर बाजारों पर भी देखा जा रहा है। दुनिया में खाद्यान्न संकट भी पैदा हो गया है तथा अनेक देश इस समस्या से जूझ रहे हैं। श्रीलंका की हालत तो आज पूरा विश्व देख रहा है। वहां की हालत बहुत ही दयनीय हो चुकी है तथा श्रीलंका के राष्ट्रपति देश छोड़कर फरार हो चुके हैं और यह मुल्क दिवालिया भी हो चुका है। वहां पर महंगाई अपने इतिहास के सर्वोच्च स्तर पर पहुंच चुकी है। वहां की हालत पूरे विश्व के लिए एक सबक भी है।
